Yes, I’m not on Delta! AirTran (unlike Delta) was dirt cheap and direct to San Juan. So, I (temporarily) dropped my allegiance. Think this means no upgrades for us? After a bit of check-in trouble (I forgot Emerson’s infant surcharge paper ticket… had to buy another one: $158.60 idiot tax paid), we had an uneventful journey through security and boarded the plane on time. Ironically, my coach seat was broken. It wouldn’t recline. So, they gave us the “operational upgrade” to BusinessElite. It’s a tough life! 😉 It’s good to be “Delta Boy.”
