After a bit of check-in trouble (I forgot Emerson’s infant surcharge paper ticket… had to buy another one: $158.60 idiot tax paid), we had an uneventful journey through security and boarded the plane on time. Ironically, my coach seat was broken. It wouldn’t recline. So, they gave us the “operational upgrade” to BusinessElite. It’s a tough life! 😉 It’s good to be “Delta Boy.”

Despite a rainy start in Tampa, we are now happily ensconced in the Sky Club awaiting our flight to Atlanta. The weekend was hectic with preparations for the trip. Libby seems to have faired pretty well with leaving Emerson (a few tears), but we know she’s in good hands with the ‘rents at home.
